Of Montreal Cassette Box Set on Joyful Noise

Joyful Noise is releasing a cassette box set of all 10 full-length albums from Of Montreal, which were previously released on such labels as Bar/None, Kindercore, and Polyvinyl between 1997-2010. Limited to 500 numbered copies, these ship in a custom-built wooden box, screen-printed with original artwork from David Barnes. Each of the 10 cassettes are individually wrapped, include the original album art, and complete mp3 downloads. available for pre-order here.

Calexico's Road Atlas (1998-2011) Vinyl Box Set

Calexico's Road Atlas (1998-2011) Vinyl Box Set is being released by City Slang on November 21. Limited to 1,100 copies, this box set compiles the long out of print tour-only cds that the band sold from 1998-2010 onto 4 LP's and 4 double LP's. The box comes wrapped in blue linen and silk screened with silver ink, while the eight albums have printed album jackets and inner sleeves, a 40 page book, and mp3 downloads for all 12 records with bonus tracks. The cost is $130 plus shipping and preorders will ship the week of November 21, 2011. You can order it here.

Chunklet has announced the release of The Jesus Lizard's 'Club' on 2xLP with gatefold design on December 7, 2011. This is limited to 1,000 copies and is the soundtrack to the DVD of the same name recorded in Nashville in 2009 and released in September 2011. 22 track in all, any copies ordered directly from Chunklet will received the colored vinyl version and apparently there will not be a second pressing. A split-release with Dagger Records USA, this cd expands the original eight song EP with six new songs from the Connecticut-based lo-fi punk band. This will include both full length albums - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea and On Avery Island, two 10" records - Everything Is EP and the Ferris Wheel on Fire EP, both with bonus tracks, three 7 inch records - Little Birds, You've Passed/Where You'll Find Me Now, the Holland 1945/Engine picture-disc, and two large posters.
